We always meet at 10:00 am sharp, at the light board outside the Roundhouse Lodge, meet again for lunch at the Roundhouse Lodge 1:00 pm 2nd floor right hand side, and then 3:00 pm APRES at Dustys in Creekside. FREE parking at Creekside, lots 4.5.6.7.8! Creekside fills up quick ...so get there early!!

WHOOSSH WinterPRIDE update |

And now for some not so great news, this yearsWinterPRIDE WHOOSSH fundraiser has been cancelled.
But will return for the 2013 WinterPRIDE festival! The reason:
TheBrewhouse would love to have the event back, and in the past 2 years we have had the event during the last week of January… So the team there (straight) didn’t realize that this years festival was early/mid February, and upon contacting the management of the Brewhouse in August to confirm the date for February 11 2012, I was told with great apology that a 90 person dinner tour was already confirmed for that night and the pub would not be available.
We approached the Hilton Hotel (previous venue) and they were not prepared to give up the Cinnamon Bear Lounge for our party.
Let me go on by saying, before the rumours get started…DEAN AND KEN from WinterPRIDE were amazing and so supportive in trying to find another venue, offering volunteers and incredible support for WHOOSSH but at the end of the day, I was not satisfied with alternative venues and I, yes me, have decided to cancel this years event!
I apologize to all our great supporters and WHOOSSH’ers! This was a hard decision to make, but WinterPRIDE WHOOSSH will return to 2013 WinterPRIDE so mark your calendars! |

Your support is always welcome and we look forward to seeing you on the slopes of Whistler Blackcomb over the coming season. Join us for Après Ski after our days on the piste and then join in the fun, laughs and party that are WHOOSSH nights held in Southside Diner in Creekside during the season too. During WinterPRIDE we have one massive WHOOSSH WinterPRIDE party and everyone is invited. All proceeds from WHOOSSH events are passed to nominated charities, so you can feel even better while partying with SkiOUT and its friends! |
